I have supported the concept of fixed terms for a long time. No less than four years, no greater than five years.

Personally, while we are a Federation, I would love to see all the states have their elections on the same day. In a different year, all the local councils have their elections across the nation. And ofcourse, the national government in their seperate year.

Would make it easier for political parties to plan election funding too.
