OK here's the thing..I feel as though we've been through this tax cuts business before. Here's how it goes: I get a tax cut...then the Reserve Bank puts up interest rates because I am now spending too much. The tax cuts and the interest rate rises almost exactly equal each other in my instance, so I want to give permission for my future cuts to go straight from Treasury to my bank so I never need to touch them..! It's easier for everyone and I don't feel anything (pleasure OR pain).
