According to the Premier of Qld where Sudanese refugees live in Toowoomba, this group has a lower rate of criminal convictions than other ethnic groups. Here in Melbourne the situation is similar. It seems that the murder of a Sudanese boy by white men has made the Sudanese the villans! That just doesn't make sense - but perhaps I am showing my age. I grew up in the land of the 'fair-go'. It seems our 'fair-go' got up and went. Shades of Mississippi and the Deep South??????
