Flawed Process

By: Jacob (Registered ) on 12-10-2007 21:34

The Tasmanian RPDC which was originally investigating the mill was shunted out of it's investigative role by the Premier of Tasmania. The problem was that the RPDC was asking too many questions and wanting to study the proposal in a scientific manner. The RPDC was not following time lines wanted by Gunns.
The credibility of the whole process is now questionable. The Federal assessment of the mill did not have the wide mandate that the RPDC process had.
