Schoolyard Bullies

I watched the debate on Sunday night and then "Tom Brown's Schooldays". I found Howard's attempts at emulating Flashman and intimidating the 'new boy' rather pathetic. I encountered bullies at every school I attended, and far from them making me nervous of authority figures they engendered in me a healthy contempt for bullies of every description. I could see from Rudd's performance that they did much the same for him.
