Erosion of pension.

Pensions should be increased to compensate for the GST that is charged, regardless of ability to pay.
I needed dental work this year that cost $3000 and GST was $300 on top of that, so all this year I have been trying to repay that amount.
When I have to have my car inspected to be registered, that's another $1000, of which another $100 is added.
These are just the big items, all the little amounts also add up and cut down on the true value of thepension paid.
Why can't pensioners be allowed a GST-free price for essentials?
