New "Liberal" Government

By: Jacob (Registered ) on 25-11-2007 22:32

It was a good result on Saturday night; hopefully we will now be able to see co-operation between the Federal and State governments. The Coalition was becoming too idealogically driven. Their policies in some areas were shallow; in education for example, nothing seemed to matter other than the three "rs".
We now have a "Liberal" Government rather than "Labor" led by Mr.Rudd; Mr. Howard's Liberal Party really should be termed a "Conservative Party", it had begun to look more like Maggie Thatcher's Conservative Party.
