Griffith is the new Camelot

By: BlindFreddy (Registered ) on 19-09-2007 11:57

A puff piece on morning TV, "Kev and Therese (& reporter) have a cuppa at their favourite bookshop" mentioned he's been home like 5 times this year, so it's not like he's putting in much time campaigning locally.
Griffith is next to the CBD, the road where this sign is a major arterial feeder, it's not there to convince the voters of Griffith, (or Camelot as we’re going to get its name changed to), we've been onto the wonders of Kev for years.
I rarely leave the fief, (after all we've got everything here, except Union,) but I think I saw another big sign months ago down near Dutton Park cemetry, ( we've got 2 cemetries here in Camelot, Kev's organised a cradle to grave electoral experience) for Graham Perritt, featuring Kev of course. I just assumed these billboards were going up everywhere. If that's not the case, as grahamy's piece suggests, that means sussex street must think perrits seat is winnable.
I heard a Hardgrave ad on the AM radio while I was in Vinnies today ( there's an Italian suit there with $200 on it, what an electorate hey?) he was going on about how many trucks he's stopped using the Logan motorway or something. That's vision?

Swapping colours

The Labor Party started changing how their how to votes looked in the mid 90's when they were on the nose with the electorate in order to confuse the voters. The ALP isn't the first though as the Democrats did this to steal votes away from the Nationals.
