Damn that 1200 character limit!! 
 
• There are no issues with broadband in regional and rural Australia because the only people who need access to high speed broadband are university students and people who want to pirate movies from the internet. He claims most people are happy with dial-up. 
 
• Children of wealthy people are smarter than children of poor people. 
 
• Australia should have a national DNA data base, with samples taken at birth, as a way of controlling crime. (What the????) 
 
• Veterans’ don’t deserve a pay-rise of $30 per week, refusing to back Kevin Rudd’s bill. 
 
• A nuclear reactor on the banks of the Burdekin River is a good idea and that we shouldn’t rule out nuclear energy in Australia. 
 
• Australian Defence Force personnel are playing for “Team Australia” and are “Howard’s Own” (though none of the soldiers new what he was talking about), even though he refused to rule out his support of comments made recently by Dr Peter Phelps comparing a retired Iraq Veteran to World War II Nazis. 
 
• Child Safety Officers, carrying out there judicially sanctioned work, on the front line in the fight against child-abuse and neglect, act like Nazi’s. (ABC Radio)
