Paper manufacture

There are other plants one can grow to manufacture paper (look up http://www.nextdesign.biz/ alternativepaper.html). Also, we use far too much. I am an editor (not of websites) and have not finished the ream of paper I bought 18 months ago. I refuse to submit anything on hard copy.

Flawed Process

The Tasmanian RPDC which was originally investigating the mill was shunted out of it's investigative role by the Premier of Tasmania. The problem was that the RPDC was asking too many questions and wanting to study the proposal in a scientific manner. The RPDC was not following time lines wanted by Gunns. 
The credibility of the whole process is now questionable. The Federal assessment of the mill did not have the wide mandate that the RPDC process had.
