"This election I’m going to go with the scientific community"

Make sure you know where the preferences will go when you vote for other than 'main stream'.

Yes i agree totally Raven. Preferences will be all important. When i say i will be going with the scientific community... i mean that i will be voting for a party that recognises the dangers climate change will bring us as presented by the scientific community. A party which has provided solutions to Climate Change in their policies (as have the Greens).

I hope to see an ALP govt with the Greens (and the Dems/SA) ensuring we HAVE a future. When in doubt of preference flow, I will simply put the party in question below the Libs/coalition.

Cheers and thanks for pointing out this issue.

Regards
Anne

re Al Gore

An inconvenient truth is a convenient way to make a few dollars on an issue where most everybody frowns from lack of knowledge, I for one are yet to be convinced of mans negative influence on climate change.

Carbon credits are surely a great way to become wealthy, for some!

Do you remember the hype around the Ozone Layer Depletion, little spoken of today. Then there was the millenium bug... how many people went rushing out to buy torches and stock up on various goods, not me anyway. Geez; how the world was gonna crash at midnight December 31st 1999. It didnt!

Whilst science has its place in todays modern world I remain sceptical of some of their motives...climate change being one of them.

Surprise !

There was just a National Farmers Federation advertisement on TV calling for action on climate change. It was NOT supporting liberals or Nationals parties but calling on all parties to help stop the damage to farming caused by climate change.
