"Gee raven you are indeed a wise sage, who has clearly taken the time to debunk the false science of climate change".

If only I were as you suggest!

I dont argue that climate is changing, it has done so many times in this planets history. I never ever believed some dumb arab had a nuclear capacity when told he did. Disproven too many times to believe that story.

What I question is mans 'stated' influence to the degree of climate change, for many its a great way to get some funding, mention climate change and the response is "how much do you need".

Science is about proving something exists and why, and then arguing the toss that it does not exist and why, it is not a belief. Science has yet to conclusively proved anything either way.

I hear we should stop cows from farting, that might go a long way to eliminate the problem.

cattle produce methane

By: anne_elk (Registered ) on 25-10-2007 22:04

thanks again for pointing our about cattle produced methane. And various feedstocks produce various results.

I wonder how many taxpayers realise that our currently elected Goverment 'representatives' have injected a small fortune of our taxes into "researching climate change mitigation"
...and a large chunk of that went into studying cattle farts.

wonderful hey!

Imagine how many individual houses could have been provided with sustainable energy supplies with those same funds...

If only our taxes were in the hands of real leaders who did the right thing by their own people rather than lining the pockets of the beef industry.

roll on election 07!

Sun spots in my eyes.

By: Phoenix (Registered ) on 26-10-2007 02:01

How dumb will you feel in fifteen years time when the approved mantra will be that we are going into global cooling?
If Governments employ scientists to work on the global cooling gravy train, is it any wonder that their interpretation of the facts is going to be biased towards their master's voice.
Did you never watch "Yes Minister" or "Yes Prime Minister".
If TWS, ACF, The Greens et.al. told you that the sun was going to start rising in the west, would you automatically believe them?
If you have an enquiring mind, open to other views, look at the Lavoisier Group website.
