Samuel Gordon Stewart a well known blogger and AM radio enthusiast has announced his intention to run as an independent candidate in the ACT seat of Fraser.

Samuel's blog is a hit on the internet with his detailed knowledge of the Canberra bus systems and building activites in the suburbs. He has contact with the AM radios top announcers and has already been interviewed on Mike Welsh's show on 2CC.

ABC Bias

What is it with journalists? Who tells them thay would make good politicians?
What makes a good person with years of experience - just up and change their career path? Surely to be an effective politician one needs to at least studied law or perhaps politics at a tertiery level, not done a journalist cadetship with a local radio station

well, to be fair, politics and journalism have a lot in common - they're both public positions that rely on public perception, they're semi-professional jobs that don't really have any particular educational requirements for entry. it happens on both sides of the fence too, not just the ABC.

why ABC bias? he's a podcaster, not an ABC journo...
