On 26 April 2006, the Prime Minister announced that the "Australian Government has decided to proceed in principle with a new access [smart] card for health and welfare services".
This
is linked to a national database containing personal information and
other information on almost every Australian. However, the so-called
Access Card system is, in effect, a national identity card system and
should be opposed as such."Any
government that wants to issue a unique identification number to most
of the population and then to compile and link information about them
using increasingly powerful technology bears a heavy onus to justify
its case. ...
'Nothing to hide, nothing to fear', directed at each member of the
public, should be turned around and directed at government as: 'No
legitimate reason to know, no legitimate reason to ask'."- Paul Chadwick, Victorian Privacy Commissioner, The Value of Privacy, 23 May 2006Is this just a few more steps toward the compulsory injection of an RF identity chip
into your forearm. The biblical mark of the beast, without which no man may buy or sell! Howard's "access card" is just another step down the slippery slope to a completely authoritarian government, an agency of the New World Order. Only a genetically engineered composite of Maggie Thatcher, Joan of Arc and
Pauline Hanson, mated with a genetically engineered composite of Bob Katter,
Georg Heider and Ned Kelly might produce the sort of popular and fearless
leader to rise up and sweep the demons, Howard and Rudd, or whatever
substitute puppets the hidden government of the ruling world order replaces
them with, from the halls of power. The Labor party statement categorically affirms that the access card
will be abandoned notwithstanding? On that matter alone Rudd’s stance is better. But overall, Rudd is just as subservient to real government of Australia,
the hidden hand of internationalism as is Howard. It was Labour that started to sell off Australia in the orgy of so-called
"privatisation" that has sold our entire national infrastructure to
"investors"' over the past twenty or so years. Look who they are, read the
substantial shareholder filings on the ASX for any major listed
infrastructure trust. Apart from a few thousand people that own a
few hundred thousand dollars worth, because they are profitable and are
Australian, the country's assets are now mainly foreign owned.
Our country is now almost completely owned by the international bankers. Hence overall, Rudd is likely to be no better.
