Vote 1: Nuclear wasteland?

The Federal election is finally here. Vote for us! We promise (we lie) to fund (to bribe) you. You pay taxes? Here’s $34 billion. You’re a pensioner? $4 billion for you. Got kids in childcare? Have some more money. We care (want to stay in power). Vote for us!

We care (want to stay in power) and have great plans (to bow-down to the USA) to take care of Australia. We are concerned about climate change and support clean energy (we are considering building 25 nuclear-power plants all over Australia, continue to support the coal industry, and support plans to store other countries nuclear-waste in Australia.)

We care (want to stay in power) and promise (lie) to you that we will manage the economy well. We are currently experiencing a mineral boom (Australia has most of the worlds Uranium. It’s worth a lot of money, other people want it, we are going to sell it) and will make (a few) Australians rich!

We are committed to working with other nations in supporting clean energy alternatives (2 months ago we joined the USA’s Global Nuclear Energy Partnership. The goal of the GNEP is to expand nuclear-power usage all around the globe. We didn’t tell anyone about it because the nuclear fuel-cycle involves a lot of waste products which kill people, plants, animals, poison the earth, and stay dangerous for 1000’s of years. We will now increase uranium mining all over Australia, build uranium-enrichment plants, and eventually accept other countries radioactive waste.)

We care (want to stay in power) and are concerned about climate change (we still haven’t signed the Kyoto protocol, still don’t support renewable energy technologies, and still accept huge political donations from fossil-fuel companies.)

We represent the common man (the businesses and corporations who give us money).

We told the truth (lied) about GST.

We told the truth (lied) about refugees throwing their children overboard.

We told the truth (lied) about the Iraq war.

We care (want to stay in power).

We support (betray) you.

We tell the truth (lie) to you.
